Job Description

LetzBizz is looking for an experienced OCI Cloud Architect with strong Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) expertise for a critical three-month consulting engagement in Chennai.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, implementing, securing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments, including Oracle EBS application environments across Development, UAT, and Production.

This position requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, Oracle EBS administration, infrastructure automation, patching, upgrades, high availability, and disaster recovery. Candidates must be available to join immediately and willing to work on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage OCI environments across Development, UAT, and Production.

• Architect secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient OCI solutions.

• Manage Oracle E-Business Suite application environments hosted on OCI.

• Perform EBS installation, cloning, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades.

• Administer EBS application tiers, database tiers, WebLogic, and concurrent managers.

• Implement OCI security policies, IAM, compartments, access controls, and governance standards.

• Plan and execute operating system, middleware, database, OCI, and EBS patching activities.

• Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure and application deployments.

• Provision and manage OCI resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.

• Design and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.

• Conduct DR testing, failover, and failback exercises to validate recovery objectives.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and cloud costs.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, database, and application issues.

• Maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and operational runbooks.

• Collaborate with application, database, DevOps, and security teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on expertise in OCI architecture.

• Proven experience managing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments.

• Strong understanding of OCI networking, cloud security, IAM, and governance.

• Expertise in EBS administration, cloning, patching, and upgrades.

• Experience managing Development, UAT, and Production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.

• Strong understanding of HA/DR architecture, disaster recovery testing, and failover planning.

• Experience with Oracle Database technologies, including DB Systems; Exadata or Autonomous Database experience is preferred.

• Strong Linux administration and Bash/Python scripting skills.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• OCI Architect and/or Oracle EBS certifications are preferred.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Available to join immediately.

• Willing to work on a three-month contract engagement.

• Comfortable working in the UK time zone.

• Able to work from Chennai under the agreed WFO/hybrid arrangement.

• Willing to work within the approved monthly consulting budget.
